Environmental Audit (EA)
Environmental Audit is “a management tool comprising a systematic, documented, periodic and objective evaluation of how well environmental organization, management and equipment are performing in the aim of
helping to safeguard the environment by facilitating management and control of environmental practices and assessing compliance with company policies, which would include meeting regulatory requirements” as defined by the Council of the European Communities CEC in 1993.
There are two types of EA: Voluntary EA (management systems audit)and Mandatory EA (compliance audit).
Water and Environment Centre (WEC) at the Royal Scientific Society (RSS) has more than 20 years of experience in conducting EA studies.
Environmental Audit team has conducted many EA studies according to the national and international legislations and guidelines.
Environmental Audit team has a wide range of work experience in EA studies such as: EA studyfor Medical and Hazardous Waste Incinerator, EA studies for Chemical Safety Management, EA studies for Tank Farm, EA study for In-Flight Waste, EA study for Yeast Industry, EA studies for Noise Measurements and Assessment, EA studies for Fertilizers and Chemical Complex, EA study for Pharmaceutical Industry, EA studies for Wastewater Treatment Units, EA studies for Hospitals and EA study for Beverages Company. All members of EA team have International Register of Certificated Auditor (IRCA) in ISO 14001:2015 Lead Auditor.
